Holiday Inn Express – Where sophistication meets friendliness!

Nestled along Route 66 in Pulaski County USA lies one of the most sophisticated and contemporary hotels in the Saint Robert-Fort Leonard Wood area; the Holiday Inn Express.  This fairly new hotel was built in 2010 and is 100% non-smoking.  It is conveniently located within walking distance to area restaurants and located only two miles from Fort Leonard Wood.  Guests to this hotel chose to stay based on excellent Trip Advisor reviews and the sophistication of the hotel and their staff.  What sets this hotel apart from others, you wonder?  Well not only have they received the Certificate of Excellence for 2012 from Trip Advisor, they have the only indoor salt water pool and the largest state of the art fitness center in the area!

The Holiday Inn of Saint Robert offers 82 guest rooms including king, queen, double and handicap accessible, and in every room they offer a coffee maker, iron and ironing boards, hair dryer and a work desk.  In order to make their guests feel at home they also offer free wireless, guest laundry, hot and cold complimentary breakfast, coffee, tea and cookies served throughout the day and a business center with fax and photocopying capabilities.  It is no wonder why they were nominated to receive the 2012 Quality Excellence Award for the Holiday Inn Express Brand, for which they did win!

“We work hard to provide the highest quality of accommodations and customer service at all of our hotels,” says Bruce Farris, Chief-Partner at Farris Brothers Investments, “and we are honored to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award in our industry.”

“I am not surprised that we have been considered for this reward. The Holiday Inn Express located at, 605 St. Highway Z, St. Robert, MO, is a beautiful, newly opened hotel unlike any other accommodation in the St. Robert/Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri area. The contemporary, elegant and sophisticated décor, with many amenities, will leave you pleasantly surprised,” commented Farris.

The Holiday Inn Express has been very lucky to have some pretty cool guests through their hotel since they opened.  In 2011 Erin Brockovich stopped by for a three night stay to visit her son who graduated from Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood and this October they were honored to have Gene Stephens, the oldest surviving Military Police Veteran from World War II.  Stephens was in town for Military Police Week where he received five awards as the Guest of Honor.  Stephens was drafted back in 1941 for World War II just as the Army began their Military Police program.  He escorted some of the war’s biggest names throughout Europe and Africa.

“We were honored to accommodate Mr. & Mrs. Stephens and their family at our Holiday Inn Express,” commented Bruce Farris- CEO of Farris Brothers Investments. ” Mr. Stephens is a great servant to our military and we looked forward to celebrating his accomplishments and meeting his family,” continued Farris.

In a recent interview Stephens was quoted saying, “And I would do it again. I threaten to re-up but everyone laughs at me.”
