Baymont Inn and Suites Fort Leonard Wood/Saint Robert – Where you are part of the family!

The Baymont Inn of Saint Robert is just two short miles from the main gate of Fort Leonard Wood.  This 70 room hotel offers a fitness center, pool, a great breakfast, but what really sets them apart is their exceptional hospitality!  They not only want their guests to feel like a part of the family, they want them to be part of the family.

This amazing home-town feeling goes out to all of their guests, who most of the time, come back to the Baymont.  A great example of this are the 19th Engineers who every year, since 2004, have stayed at the Baymont for their reunion on the weekend after Labor Day.  As part of the festivities they have a large picnic in Waynesville City Park on that Saturday.  This year the General Manager of Baymont, Betsy Thomson, made chicken n’ dumplings and pineapple upside down cake, on her own time, so that the Engineers could have a nice home-cooked meal.  That alone, shows how much she cares about her guests!  In a review from TripAdvisor, “We always have our 19th Combat Engineer Vietnam reunion at the Baymont Inn. The staff always sees that our every need is met with enthusiasm. We could never hold our reunion any place else!!! Reunion Committee, Tom.”

The Baymont has been host to several “celebrity” guests over the years.  This summer Jeff Bates, Buddy Jewel and Michael Ray came in to town for a concert and absolutely loved staying at the Baymont.  They also get visitors from all over the world!  Two men from Austria come to town every year and stay at the Baymont every time.  The staff and the guests get along so well that it is not uncommon for them to keep in touch after the guests have left.  It is no wonder why the Baymont Inn and Suites of Saint Robert is ranked #4 on TripAdvisor for hotels in the Saint Robert area!  In a review from TripAdvisor, “I went to the Baymont and was immediately greeted by the staff that insisted that my experience would be comparable to a long visit home. Sure enough, by the end of my 3 month stay at the Baymont, they had become my family…I do not know how to run a hotel, but I know how the guests should be treated, and the entire staff at the St. Robert Baymont has set the bar in the customer service industry. I had never stayed in a Baymont before, but I will never stay anywhere else again!”
