I heard about this event and thought it would be a great event to take my kids to. I read about it on this site, as well as the newspaper and the Facebook page. Nothing in any of these places says anything about a cost associated with the events (minus the vendors which is an expected cost). We showed up this evening to watch the Evening with Grant, that we were all really excited to see. Only to be told by the people standing guard that not only could we not go inside, we couldn’t even stand close to the rope without paying. Since nothing was conveyed about a price we came unprepared to pay. If you’re going to host an event in a public park that costs that should be communicated clearly. What a waste of time and such a disappointment.
