Mid-America Freedom Rally XXVIII is brought to you by FORR Locals 7, 10, 13, 28, 29, 33, & 35.

If you have attended any of the previous 27 annual Mid-America Freedom Rally events you may have noticed Sue Miller. Sue has never met a stranger at a rally since the first MAFR was held in Freeburg, Missouri in 1988. She is an “unofficial” member of the “unofficial” welcoming committee- and is always quick to say hello to everyone. She has also been a member of the planning committee off and on for the last 10 years- and is just as enthusiastic about this year’s 28th Annual MAFR at Buckhorn, Missouri as she was for that first event. She has seen some changes throughout the years, and watched the rally grow into one of the largest in Mid-Missouri. Last year’s rally had 1,890 people through the gate. They show up for the camaraderie, the campfires, the field games, the bikes, the poker runs, the live music, the vendors, the Mr. Buns and Ms. Buckhorn contests- and most importantly to remember and celebrate those who gave their lives for our Freedom. Sunday night’s Rolling Thunder tradition will give you goose bumps- and will stick with you until the next MAFR.
